Samsung's massive Odyssey monitors finally get a price tag

It took a while, but Samsung's big, curved Odyssey monitors are available for pre-order. 

Announced at CES 2020, the Odyssey lineup is aimed at gamers and consists of three models: the humongous, 49-inch Odyssey G9, and the slightly less extreme Odyssey G7, which comes in 27- and 32-inch sizes. 

At CES, Samsung revealed the monitors' specs, which include a QLED display, 5,120 x 1,440 pixel resolution, and 1,000 nit brightness levels for the G9.

The G7 models have a far humbler VA display panel, and 2,560 x 1,440 resolution with 600 nits brightness. All three models have a 1ms response time and a 240Hz refresh rate.  Read more...
